Selms aims to provide all the functionality required to manage a central syslog server based on syslog-ng. This includes both realtime and periodic (typically hourly) scanning log server based on syslog-ng. This includes both realtime and periodic (typically hourly) scanning of log files to alert on various things that it finds.
