Ruby Programming Examples and Scripts

I wanted something that would download podcasts from a cron job. I messed around with trying to get perlpodder to work, but could not figure out the dependencies. I tried to usound with trying to get perlpodder to work, but could not figure out the dependencies. I tried to use rubypodder but found it to be not quite what I was looking for.

I finally got to the point where I decided to roll my own. Ruby interpreter, version 1.8.2 or greater should come with everything that you need. If you use Debian (like me), you may need to install the log4r library. I think that the rest of the stuff should be there with Ruby. If I am wrong on the dependencies, let me know and I will straighten it out.
